| When I completed the “Drive of Your Life” game, I discovered that my personal style profile was: influential, outgoing, and structured. The three careers that match my style are veterinarian, education administrator, and health services administrator. From this information I have decided to explore becoming a veterinarian. I selected this job because I enjoy helping animals and taking care of them. One of my daily activities as a vet would be to examine the animals. I also have to treat sick animals. In addition, I have to operate on some animals. To work as a veterinarian, I need to have a Doctorate in Veterinarian Medicine. I must be good at deductive reasoning and being able to make good decisions.in order to become a well trained veterinarian. In the United States, the average salary for a veterinarian is $89,450 per year. In the state of Virginia, the average annual salary is $94,299. In the United States by the year 2016, employment for a veterinarian is expected to increase by 35%. In the state of Virginia by the year 2016, it is expected to increase by 50.9%. I am looking forward to becoming a veterinarian in the future. |
